I think you can remove the import mark as long as it doesnt contain the serial number. Which it doesnt. Nice pistol by the way.

Thanks everybody. I shot 2 mags out of it yesterday. And all I can say is WOW. It shoots so much nicer than my glocks. I like Sigs now I think. At least this one for sure!

My P6 rides in a Crossbreed. I purchased my grips from Grips4u, less than $100 and found used Sig factory mags last month for $24.95 each at J&Gs.

I picked up a Sig Sauer p6/225 today. I think I am in love with Sig pistols now. Only complaint with this one is the "C.A.I. GEORGIA VT." Can you legally remove that import mark? I also wish it held more than 8 rounds too; but I guess that is a reason to get a Sig Sauer 226 now. Anyways, now for some info: Previous owner said it was reworked by Mike at Accurate Iron and then cerakoted.

I love this gun. It fits my hand perfectly. Only plans I have for it now are to get some new grips and some night sights probably.

I was told he went through the entire pistol. Replaced springs and such. I didn't have this done though. Previous owner had it done.

The hammer is correct and original for the P6. There are several urban legends about why they were ordered with the notched hammer.
