Sorry, but one has to only watch the movie to come to that conclusion, and I took the time to watch the entire clip.

Perhaps someone can explain why several cops pile on top of a person who is in cuffs and beat him senseless, or pile on top of a person thrown from a vehicle and possibly already unconscience?

We should always be willing to question the acts of the NSA, the ATF, Law Enforcement, etc.

If this film was covering the ATF kicking in the doors of legal gun owners, I doubt few people here would be siding with the ATF.

By the way, I have a spotless police record.

I have watched every single video posted here, in their entirety. Rather than watching a video someone with an agenda has produced and making a judgement based solely on that video, I tend to watch and then do my own research. I've never been very good at taking anyone else's opinion about anything at face value.

I'm sticking with my original statement. There are ways to discuss subjects without being inflammatory, accusatory and without tossing out sweeping generalizations about the subject matter, whether it be race, sex, religion, etc.

Hell I don't want my phone seized, I am not filming.

lmao

Pfft ... my phone would be the least of my worries ... I have seen what happens to people's personal lives when they get involved in situations that have nothing to do with them and then that situation puts them in a courtroom with a bunch of folks, all who have their own agenda ... No thank you ...

:rotflmao: Yep! Everybody's gotta make their own choice. I would have chosen to help that officer (think I posted that). Would I slow down if I saw you in the middle of the street, waving your arms?! (NOT A CHANCE! :D See the video I posted in GD ... You are psycho!! :wink2:)

ETA: Ohhhh ... I read my post ... "Not ignoring" someone screaming for help is not the same as putting myself in harm's way (and "harm's way" includes having to make appearances to give statements, depositions, sworn testimony ... ) to help someone I don't know. I would call the professionals and then get the hell outta dodge ... :wink2:

I didn't make a sweeping statement, I said SOME officers are looking for a reason to use physical abuse...and SOME of those officers are shown in these films.

Doesn't matter if someone has an agenda or not, these are straight forward clips that show officers physically abusing suspects that are often times either already incapacitated, or are physically restrained.

In some cases, suspects are beaten to death or maimed...by people who are trained to know how to restrain a suspect...and many of the officers in these films are doing it with great enthusiasm...black and white.

In fact, they're dogpiling in some of these clips.

In the space of time that five officers are beating a suspect to death, they could have restrained his legs and arms, catch their breath, and come up with a better plan than killing someone who is intoxicated in public.

Once again, if this was the ATF beating a gun owner senseless in CT for not registering an AR, nobody would be defending them.

You know, i have watched my fair share of these sorts of vids. Likely more than my fair share in fact. In many the vid actually confirms that the cops acted as trained and in appropriate fashion. There are the brazen exceptions of course. It perplexes me that citizens and cops are often on diametrically opposed sides of the freedom of documentation argument though. If the police are doing what they are supposed to then the video can actually help them. Big battle of power going on all over the country it seems. Appears most of our OK cops are pro recording as far as I have seen myself.

Being helpful or being in the way should be the first question one should ask themselves.
