Are some retailers openly violating the state of Oklahoma's Unfair Sales Act???

The Oklahoma Unfair Sales Act requires businesses to sell their product for at least 6% more than their cost to that business.

And just who is the beneficiary of this law anyway?
If it was designed to prevent large chains like walmart from driving smaller retailers out of business it isn't working.

I used to be a retail manager and can tell you the things you see in the ad are sold to the companies (Best Buy, Walmart, ETC) by the Manufacturers (LG, SONY, TOSHIBA, ETC) at a cheaper price than what they sell to the consumers. I can assure you they don't lose money by selling a 40" TV for $230.00 and if I remember correctly one year we had a TOM TOM for sale in the ad for $100.00. The cost / price we bought that tom tom for was $70.00 so we made roughly $30.00 per tom tom sold (I think we had 250 of them). Back then the cheapest GPS was 199.99 so a 99.99 was a steal or so people thought.
