I don't want to say I told you so but........

In all actuality I have ZERO sympathy for people who voted for Dingle Barry. People lapped up the BS bill of goods like water to someone who had just crawled ten mile across the desert. They thought their vote was like a lottery ticket with a guaranteed pay out. Guess again. I'm not saying the other choice was better but at least we knew where the guy came from!

What the current socialists don't seem to realize is that business creates jobs. Business can mean giant corporations but it can also refer to the small business owner. But business is seen as EVIL. Corporations are BAD. Business is taxed at every turn and obstacles are tossed in front of anyone trying to make progress. Why does the current administration hate progress so? Losers are rewarded while winners are punished. It just doesn't make sense to me.

I kind of thought that was inappropriate also.
I mean this is one of his supporters talking to him.
Not sure if it was arrogance or ignorance.

I actually can't fault him on this one, because it appears that he kind of laughed when she said she was "tired of defending him" - as in, tired of defending her favorite guy against all of the "haters". I think he chuckled with the "yeah, there's a few people who like to criticize me" kind of attitude, not realizing (yet) that she was not defending "her guy" against the "haters", but tired of defending him without getting any substance from his administration. He didn't realize that she was about to be critical of circumstances that are not improving on his watch. You notice that smile didn't last long....

And yes, let the record show that I defended Obama. I'll try not to let it happen again.:wink2:

BS!! all the information is out there... all you have to do is grin and bear it.... as you read through reams of boring ass technical material.

here's a start... let us know what you gleam out of it ... will you?

-------------

How has the crisis changed the teaching of economics?

--------
here's another recent one....
---------

America's economy .... Are we there yet?

America’s recovery will be much slower than that from most recessions; but the government can help a bit

http://www.economist.com/node/17039121

How about you explain it to us ignorant peons then??

How long do you want the government to continue to prop up "the firms that were deemed too big to fail"? We are already writing checks we can't cash! Eventually, we have to admit that we can't afford to bail out "the firms that were deemed too big to fail" and, as bad as that would be now, it will only be worse in the future!

Bush and Obama both shared one factor that defined Bush for his entire presidency and is now defining Obama's entire presidency so far.

what I'm referring to is a single catastrophic event greeted both presidents at the beginning of their terms.

Bush had 9/11 in his face ... he had no choice but to deal with it. like it or not that was the hand dealt. some folks approved of his actions.... some hated it!

Obama had the US economy almost collapse, immediately on assuming US presidency. not only did he face collapse of the US economy, the world's economy not far behind.

It's easy to criticize afterward as hindsight is 20/20 ... but think how much worst things would have been without all the stimulus that we are all sick of.

Dude, Bush was more than likely the one that said 9/11 was a go. Sorry bud but WAY too much evidence supports that OUR government was probably responsible for 9/11. One word.. Oil.
