I would not bail my kids out and it has happened to 2 of my kids.
My son got stuck in the pokey for possession of dope when he was 16.
I let him stay there and he lost his job.
Hanging out with the wrong crowd.
Too bad dummy.

He no longer does that stuff and is driving his own semi truck across America making money and owns a house and is married and has a child.
No longer a dummy.

My daughter was 10x worse loved the wrong crowd and that lifestyle and after a few times in jail and one very long stay she straightened up.
I did not bail her out.

You do the crime you do the time and maybe you will learn something while you are in there.
