To me it's interesting and somewhat infuriating, as politics can be sometimes, but certainly not a surprise. He bought time, along with some praise from the bidenette backup singers (aka; mainstream media, talking heads, hired guns, etc) until after the election. Wherein if kamala hump had won, bye-bye charges, but this way, he doesn't care as he's through. And the only thing I may be surprised about, is if anyone truly believed him when he said he wouldn't pardon him. But as I mentioned earlier about being infuriated, I'm still so pumped and thankful that the SOB is finally on his way out and taking his #$^!%* son with him.
