All this banter kinda gives support to why constitutional carry didn't get signed. Idiots with no clue of range safety, firearms, or firearms safety.
Although I hate to admit it.....I have seen some REALLY Dumb-asses with absolutely NO clue!!!!

Another of the reasons I had my husband build me my own range. Idiots at the ranges.
My experience has been that most of the "idiots" and "dumbasses" are merely woefully ignorant people who with some patient instruction can learn safe handling and basic proficiency (yes, yes, I know there are some cases of terminal stupidity or unbelievable arrogance). I am more appalled at range management that shows no interest in instructing those folks, at least minimally, before setting them loose with a dangerous tool in a public area.
Just like in @tRidiot's thread, there is a difference between "some people shouldn't have guns" and "let's have the government make it illegal for them to have guns".
^^^ Exactly. I remember the difficult decision I had to make when it became apparent that my mother should no longer drive. Similar situation, there are times when someone should no longer be allowed to do some things. Rights or not.
