Want To Buy Inexpensive .22 squirrel rifle, Tulsa area

M-I-L lives along a creek lined with pecan trees, thick with squirrel. She has asked me to thin the "herd" some. Smallest caliber I have is a .223, a bit much for the little critters.

A .410 or 20 gauge works too. I started off hunting 'em with a .410 (around 10-11yrs old?) before Dad would let me have a .22LR.

Mossberg 702. Don't let the price fool you. I have one and use it for killing Muskrats in Mom's pond to keep them from digging out the dam. It's a very accurate rifle. I have a $40 scope on it and can pick em off every time.
