And one author's view on the "News site" itself. Note this article is dated March 3, 2020.

https://missoulacurrent.com/opinion/2020/03/voices-fake-news-site/

While the Montana Daily Gazette tries to hide who is behind its work, it didn’t take long to uncover who is behind the site: Pastor Jordan D. Hall of Sidney.

The Montana Daily Gazette is hosted on a server located at this IP address: 74.208.178.190. Two other sites located at that exact IP address are Pulpit and Pen, another site run by Hall that offers commentary about Pete Buttigieg’s “gay reign of terror” and the site for Sidney’s Fellowship Baptist Church, where Hall serves as a pastor.

The private Facebook page for the Montana Daily Gazette, created three weeks ago, lists Jordan Hall as its administrator.

The author of this Missoula Current article is being disingenuous by implying that it took his reporter's investigative talents to discover the publisher of the Montana Daily Gazette--including the "daming evidence" of the IP address of the server housing the news site. What he does not say is that it only took his clicking on the "ABOUT" link to find this:

The Montana Daily Gazette was founded by Pastor Jordan Hall of Sidney, Montana, and ownership was transferred to a group of Montana investors in October of 2020. All of our owners – all Montanans – are highly committed to providing up-to-date, fair news coverage from a conservative and Christian worldview and come from a range of backgrounds including government, religion, publishing, entrepreneurialism, and philanthropy.

Hall’s organization, The Gideon Knox Group, remains the publisher for Montana Daily Gazette. Its editor, who manages the day-to-day content of the newspaper, is James White of Kalispell.

Jordan Hall has been credentialed with the Montana Newspaper Association, writing as a freelance reporter for the Round-Up Newspaper, based in Richland County, Montana. Hall’s has been quoted or cited in the New York Times, Newsweek, the Washington Post, the UK Daily Mail, the London Telegraph, the Today Show, Maxim, as well as in Christian publications like the Christian Post, Baptist News Global, and the Christian Research Network (https://montanadailygazette.com/about/)

Did you read and understand the article on the Montana Daily Gazette??? The man is a nut case with his own agenda. He twisted the true event to match his agenda. Facts don't matter. Pretty simple.

I did. There's enough differences between the two reports to make me wonder which one is the most accurate... Or if they are describing two different incidents. Frankly, I am suspicious of all "legacy" media now--even the supposedly conservative New York Post is calling for gun control now: https://nypost.com/2021/03/23/get-weapons-of-war-off-americas-streets/
