Hello. Newly registered after lurking for quite awhile. Got lots of good info in the past and cant wait to see what info I will pick up in the future. Went to my first competition at USSA (just observed) and will definitely will be joining the shooting nest time. While my wife and I were there at USSA, we went ahead and signed up for a membership (orientation this Saturday). Look forward to learning more from you guys (and gals)!

Hello folks. I've moved to Oklahoma from Texas and am in the process of tradeing my Texas CCH to here. First observation, it's a little more expensive here than Texas for a permit? I've read quiet a few postings on this forum and it seems the "Topics" are the same and replies are both learned and informative. Thanks for the chance to be a part of this group.

Hello, buddy of mine introduced me to this forum, I think it's pretty cool.

I'm mainly into guns for critter control and being able to defend my family and stuff should the need arise. My arsenal isn't that big but it's growing. Browning 9mm Hi Power and three 22 rifles. Had to sell a Browning Auto 5 couple years ago when things got lean, I no longer bird hunt so other than missing the gun I don't miss what it was used for. Eradicating all Skunks and Armadillos is an unreachable goal but I'm trying my best.

Within the next year when the mad money is right, plan on getting my CC and buying a Kel-Tec 380. The Hi Power is truly a nice gun but a bit big to hide when you are 6 foot tall and only weigh 145.

Anyway, enjoying the forum and hope everyone has a great 2010

Hello my name is John and i'm new here, what a concept. Anyway a little about me. Former soldier US Army, and former Police Officer . Now I work back in the mechanical field making enough money to support my family. My brother is on here and can be obnoxious but i try not to be. I've shot in IDPA comps and enjoyed it but due to time constrants i've not shot in a comp in over 3 or 4 years.

Hello to all. I am new on here so it may take me a little bit to figure it out. I live in Yukon and I am an all around gun lover. I like to look, buy, trade, shoot, and dream. I do not hunt anymore, but I still love to shoot. I like all kinds of guns. I like the new, old, wall hangers, and the guns you do not see every day. I drive a heavy haul truck and sometimes work crazy hours. If you contact me and it takes a while to get back, that is why. I hope to spend alot of time on here and get to know some other "gun nuts".

Hello OSA community, new here. Have had a love for weapons in general but didnt really get into til recently. Im a Staff Sergeant in the US Army, been deployed three times in 7 years. Getting ready to get out and come back home to OKC in about a year. Slowly but surely trying to add weapons when I can. So far just a HI Point .380, lol. Gotta start somewhere, but being in the army I have had the opportunity to collect a few things for an AR15 so thats what Im looking for now.
