I would like to introduce myself........I have been watching this website for sometime and have appreciated the comments I have found here. I am a chiropractic physician that calls up varmints, hunts pheasant in Kansas, and has a real penchant for East bloc semiauto pistols. I am a true Makarov supporter. They are reasonably priced, extremely accurate and I own several...not one has misfed! Its what I like, its what I carry! I reload my own ammo for this nice little pistol and I enjoy talking about them. I am not an expert but I think I am knowledgable of them and their brethren Tokarev. If I see any threads where I can add something about these tried and true armaments, I will give it a try!

Hey all you gun lovin freaks :-) I'm glad that I found this forum, it's great. I've just been cruising the classifieds lately for good deals locally and found a few. I've read alot on the forum, just not posted much yet, but that'll change, everybody's got an opinion, especially me.

I'm mainly a handgun guy, unless it's a military surplus rifle and I'm all over it. Makarov's and Tokarev's are my addiction, but I've got glocks and a couple of other plastic pistols as well. If it shoots straight, I'll take it to the range.

I take my concealed carry class on Saturday through carrylegal.com and hope to see some of you there.
