Is it just me, or did someone restart the cold war?

This man has got it.

The Euro is about to dissolve. Not 'about to' as in sometime in the next 5 - 10 years. Like the next 6 - 8 months. Talk about kicking off some wild stuff.

I agree. And the frightening thing about it, we are right behind them. Europe is one of our largest trading partners, and when trade is suspended with them due to a currency default, we don't sell. Over the cliff we go. We have a major economic quake from an EU meltdown, and China's major trade partner (us) will slow/quit buying, so off the cliff they go. China also trades heavily with Europe, so they are in one hell of a pickle. Add to that, if the BRICS nations dump the dollar as the standard for petroleum, we'll hit the skids in a hurry. Our "default currency" status is the only thing keeping us from going Hindenburg right now.

Things are looking, very, very bumpy over the next few years.

What's funny about that is I remember my French teacher in school telling us about how good of an idea the Euro is and told her it would never make it. Who's got the improper accent now Mrs. Baker?
