Is "okie" offensive?

I agree with most of that, the only reason I've wanted to do a name change is to get a web address and a name that are the same. I hadn't considered just calling the forum "OKshooters" but I'll think about it a bit.

Does that mean I get a free baseball cap?

OKay so how does Okie relate to doing something dumb?? Your being from Oklahoma has no correlation lol.. I mean ya can't quit being an Okie, I was born and raised here . But you can definitely quit being a dumb ass. LOL Well if there is alcohol and 2 Okies around I can see a problem with quitting being a *******.... Hold my beer and watch this **** LOL.

They're just playful nicknames. They've been around so long that any offensive meaning they had is long since passed.

Is lovingly referring to a smoked bologna chub as Okie prime rib or a Hasty Bake grill an Okie heirloom offensive, cause I do that all the time?

BTW, anybody know where I can pick up one of those Okie t-shirts spelled with a kalash silhouette in place of the k?
