Yes, but it wasn't January 6, it was when all the Hamas supporters stormed and occupied the congressional offices demanding that the US stop Israel from attacking them (after they started it all). Of course no police were called, and they were also supported by the press. So, no harm, no foul, I guess.
Oh, FYI, he dissmissed charges without prejudice, meaning they can be re-filed at a later time (read when Trump leaves office). Of course, that assumes they will be out free and walking around when that time comes.

Do you think the dems and libs feel duped? For years it was "were winning, he's bad, she's bad, this is bad, this is good". Now it's "we lost by a mile, they aren't really that bad and most of this didn't happen". Weird.
He should file to drop charges against all the others also.
I don't think Smith was the prosecutor in those other cases.
