Point taken. But an enemy that should have collapsed on June 6th, 1944 was armed with a bolt action rifle as its primary weapon. Essentially unchanged from the late 19th century. The Mauser action is to be found on many deer hunting rifles to this day.
So was the enemy at that time. Not the story today.

Maybe, just maybe, they actually believe that America would be a safer place without any guns.

It is entirely possible to believe in something with all your heart and still be wrong, you know.
I prefer to look toward the ends those means will take us to. I give no quarter to ignorance.

We have the largest army in the world if you count all us gun owners. Foreign troops on our soil will have a very short life span in my estimation. Blue helmet equals blue target if they are over here trying to enforce UN rules.

Some parts of the country will get they a proper county welcome they wont forget.

Some of you are forgetting that it is not just the gun owners any invader would have to worry about. In many areas if they left them unattended for even a few minutes they could come out and find their tank up on blocks, the treads, road wheels, engine, radio, etc missing. In others they could be patrolling a river and start hearing banjo music. :D

We play by rules though. Most countries wont
To be honest, "they" play to win. I don't think rules ever won a war. Killing the enemy and destroying their ability to wage war wins wars.

I'd rather finish a war and preserve freedom and security for my own country. Misplaced humanitarianism can get you killed and your fellow countrymen and posterity enslaved.

Like ridiculous rules such as using only FMJ ammo. Gimme a frigging break.

So "wipe them from the face of the earth" is OK?
