4 layers isnt enough
See the wind sock.

Appears you're at the OKC Gun Range.
There are powders out there that are temperature sensitive.
What loads were you shooting, and did you notice a different POI from the same rounds fired in the summer is my question?

I was out at Action Pistol on Saturday too, and the moisture in my breath was condensing and freezing into my mustache and beard. Crazy. Had icicles on my face. Was zeroing this Trojan that I coated in AlumHyde 2. Coating is nice, stood up to recoil from major power factor ammo just fine.

The GSSF match was set up on bays 1-3, but nobody showed up to shoot, so helped them tear it down before heading home.

I can handle 50-ish cold but not wind,,,
That dang chill factor makes my hands shake.

If it's in the 50's or below,,,
I don't even take my rifles out of the cabinet.

The only cold weather shooting I will ever do,,,
Is to unlimber a .22 handgun at 15 yards.

Basically all I'm doing then,,,
Is turning money into noise.

But if I can keep the holes in a 8" paper plate,,,
I don't feel like I'm completely wasting my ammo.

According to my weather app,,,
It's going to be weeks before temps hit the 60's.

I'm going a bit stir crazy.
