No, its not new. However the magnitude and overt complicity of our government is new. At least they used to try and hide it some.

Also the exponential rate as with illegals and their off spring reproduce is very alarming. We really cant afford the various programs they use when we have vets who cant get the healthcare they need. One factor in costs of illegal immigration that is not tracked is what their anchor babies cost since they get that joke citizenship that puts a joke on the usa. I think if we got tough back in the 80s there is a shot obama might not have been elected and i know if the way immigration was done the legal way had not been changed in the 60s by Ted Kennedy he would not be.

Another lover of the great nation. We dont even need that. Just let militias control the border with a "green light" on what they do as long as the illegals are breaking in. Nothing is done until they cross us soil and a warning is given first. If they come in with weapons they are immediately treated as hostile. I personally would count a child bearing age female of the typical illegal profile, but that might be called heartless by too many. When you are behind one in the grocery store and they are pregnant and have 6 kids running around and pay with wic maybe you will get it.

That might involve some feelings of responsibility as well.

There was a fair amount of violence and hatred directed towards Vietnamese and Cambodians even when they came here legally.

well in the case of the Vietnamese they were in danger if they had family who fought on our side in NAM. Seems asians use public dole much less than other minority groups.

The problems they faced were clear bigotry. There is a big difference between that and what is going on here now. Plus i have met few asians that dont know english, but meet many of the current demographic.
