Sounds good to me Raoul.
Carpet bomb the border. Everyday. Bomb the **** out of that son of the *****. There'll be a little collateral but it'll be worth it.
Are you suggesting we shoot at teenage children for attempting to enter the United States?
No, its not new. However the magnitude and overt complicity of our government is new. At least they used to try and hide it some.
Oh, I don't know bout that.
We had more than 86,000 Cubans come here in May 1980 alone.
The coast guard was tasked with helping them arrive safely.
Those were reliably Republican votes though so yeah, that was different.
I'm almost to the point where I'd be alright with landmines along the border.
Three rows of 10' high razor wire, armed guard towers every 300yrds. Still cheaper than generations of welfare.
Could be.
I know we took in hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese and Cambodians from about 1978 to the late 80's.
That might involve some feelings of responsibility as well.
Still, they weren't welcomed like those Cubans were.
There was a fair amount of violence and hatred directed towards Vietnamese and Cambodians even when they came here legally.
What would you do if a teenage robber was in your house coming at you after being told to stop and see you point a gun at them?
This logic you are using is one thing getting them sympathy. "Its the children" They dont belong here and wont quit coming until they are not welcome.
