I have eye/hand dominance mismatch as well and it never hurt my handgun shooting but always caused me to be less effective and accurate with a riffle. The first time I properly set up a reflex sight on a rifle and was able to keep both eyes open it was amazing.
That's an interesting set up. I'm left handed/lefy eye dominant, but when I started shooting a bow it felt natural to shoot it right handed so I forced myself to use my right eye. I still shoot guns lefty, but now both eyes are about equal in dominance.
I just let 'er rip. I do have to make sure I keep the head out of the water though.Ever have to use your non-dominant hand when you’re takin’ a wiz? Just feels wrong.
