Glad to hear they shot well. I'm trying to work up a nice lead load I can shoot in a 1911 and 21SF (w/Lone Wolf barrel).
I liked it and it tossed brass very well and consistent from my ultra compact 1911. I may back the charge off a little on the next go around and see if I can soften up the recoil even more. Soft shooting .45s FTW.
smoke and cast bullets go together. the cast just doesn't seal as well and allows some gas out.
btw, 4.9 grains of unique with this cast bullet shoots real nice.
Fixed that for you. You mean loads like those 9mm's of mine you shot?

Haha, yeah you're probably right. Found out the Glock needs them a lot harder than that to cycle.
