I can agree we need more free clinics but not for illegals. I am going to freak a few people out with this but we do need free college for some, but only those studying nursing, teaching, law enforcement and maybe the hard sciences. Those places we have a shortage of trained people only. Then they need to have a place to work that pays it back and free clinics would be a good place for the nurses to pay it back.

You know, if the Dr's are working without pay, without borders style, I don't have a problem with it. But like anything subsidized by government, those free $25 ibuprofen would blow through that taxpayer money pretty quick.

Rick I am not sure about now but I know years ago. Teachers for example could work in under privileged schools for a certain period of time and get school loans paid off. I think that is more the way to approach what you are talking about. Same could be done for those in the medical profession.

So Joe says that eh? Who in the HE.. is he to obligate us and put us on the hook for someone that entered this country illegally? I am not responsible for someone else's stupidity (Joe's) nor am I responsible for the healthcare of anyone except those within my immediate family. Joe Biden just fell on his own sword with that comment and he lost some votes. (he didn't have many) . I have never heard such foolishness and weird comments from politicians until recent years but this one takes the award for lunatic of the year. Who would place us in servitude to illegals but the Democrats? That is exactly what it is, servitude-and we will be their perpetual servants for the rest of our lives. Now comes the basic question, who will take care of us? The country is going bankrupt thanks to the politicians.

Yes something like that is what I had in mind. I do not think they still do it but they should, but only those areas we have a real need and a shortage of trained people. No doctors, lawyers, women's studies or liberal arts majors.

Like Doctors in the Military. The Government pays for their school but they have to serve I think it's 6 years to repay their debt.
