The man is dead. He had both his arms and his leg broken during ejection when shot down. They set those bones without any pain killers.
One arm was broken in three places with a floating bone. He passed out from the pain several times while they tried to manipulate the bones and failed over a one hour period.
He was bent backwards in the favorite form of torture until his head was almost parallel to his a$$ weekly, where him and others subjected to the same torture passed out from the pain and suffered lifetime disabilities.
He turned down an early pass home because of his dad being an Admiral in the Navy to stay with his fellow captives.
He returned to Vietnam to the very cell where he was held in Hanoi and wished to meet and forgive the person that was his chief torturer.
The Vietnamese citizen refused to meet with McCain.
That says a lot about his character and his devotion the the US.
Give the guy some respect in his death.

@dennishoddy, these posts aren't directed at McCain, but at an earlier poster in this thread.
O.K. They're mocking the Q nitwit which is fine. Some of it is spilling over into the RIP thread which is not cool.
Should have been ignored. Silence is golden sometimes, and this is one of them to a post that shouldn't have been replied to IMHO.
