The Cowboys, Angel and the Bad Man, Quiet Man, Shootist, Alamo, McLintock, Stagecoach, Sands of Iwo Jima. In no particular order and I'm sure I'm leaving some out.... nit enough coffee yet this morning.

Yup. It was fot True Grit, my very favorite movie of his. Funny...out of all the movies he was in (nearly 250) he only won that single Oscar.

Some folks say True Grit was his worst movie. I loved it because Duke had to actually get into character to play Rooster Cogburn. In all of his movies, he plays John Wayne. His portrayal of Rooster was NOT John Wayne.

I slowed it down to .25 speed and still can't figure out how they did it. Kennedy's laughing is classic.
