Red fumes cam out of some bottles when they opened it.
If I remember correctly ..something about missing a coating process of degraded coating issue.
If you use it quickly before the red genie smoke appears I think you should be fine.

Is this a sign of anything?
Either you need to anneal those necks or up your charge. I'm not sure what load you're running, but that is a sign of the neck not expanding in the chamber.
ok, I guess I need to figure out how to anneal the necks. that's probably what the problem is.

Hornady 168 gr BTHP, 40.7 gr of Accurate 2495, Federal brass, winchester magnum primers.
I’ve been loading 308 for years, and I use 45.5 grains Varget, 165 gr Corelokt bullets, CCI magnum primers, and Lapua brass.
