I have a 13'3" Viking kayak that I have no problem with, big or skinny water. Been in the Gulf, the Bays, the Atlantic off of Marathon Key. I don't like big wind/waves, but I didn't like them when I had a 16ft V-bottom either.
It’s a one man, but if I remove the pedal drive, my son can sit in the front with me. It’s 38” wide and 10’8” long. It has a 450lb capacity.
If you fish out of a canoe very much you will eventually go head first into the water.
