And yet, Jack Ruby had no difficulty carrying a handgun on a regular basis. Even in a police station.
See what I mean?

Just goes to show that guys like Ruby don't obey those no-carry laws. I just wish there had been an armed good guy on the sceen. If there had been an armed good guy there, Ruby wouldn't have dared to try anything. Thanks Texas Gun Laws!

It was more than 6 seconds for 3 shots. The clock doesn't start until after the first shot, so it was 6 seconds for 2 shots.

At any rate, a while back, I recall a link to a company that was motion-correcting film and video. So instead of the bouncing of the original Zapruder film, you ended up with this nice almost Steadi-Cam version. Very interesting, but I can't find the link any more.

Make fun if you want. I'm all for fun.

You're making the argument that:

Oswald was a calculating killer who somehow neglected to bring his handgun.
Ruby had no plan but at least he remembered to bring his handgun.

At least it all worked out well in the long run. :)

There is too many inconsistencies when it comes to the JFK assassination. I am not usually one for conspiracies or cover ups but it is pretty clear in my mind that it wasn't as the official story tells it. I don't remember which book it was but one of them posed the idea that officer tippet was sent to murder oswald for his knowing of the plot but it was botched so they had to send ruby a few days later to do it. I believe it was the Trafficante crime family in coordination with the CIA that pulled this caper. At least that is what the most conclusive evidence suggests.

It's remarkable that

Oswald, the calculating assassin, forgot to bring his revolver
AND
Ruby, the impulsive nightclub owner, remembered to carry his revolver.

Serendipity at it's finest.

Jack ruby was well known in the police station.

I also carried a pistol before it became legal.

I lost mine in a boating accident before it became legal.

True story, I had one in a shoulder holster (allegedly) I was holding my youngest son. I shifted him to my left arm to get my billfold to pay for something or other in a store in Crossroads Mall. The magazine comes squirting out and lands on the counter right in front of the clerk. I set him down opened my jacket and re-inserted the mag. The clerk still looked pretty freaked when we finished paying and headed out the door. Needless to say, we boogied right on out of the mall.

I wonder if there is anyone left alive (besides Elvis) that knows the whole truth.

If there is anyone that knows the truth, I wonder if they could get anyone to believe them?

One thing I think is 100% regarding the JKF Assassination, it is in my lifetime THE CONSPIRACY before all others. The multiple published theories regarding how the actual assassination took place, who did it, why it was done etc have assisted in the cover up of the truth and it will never be known.

I am of the opion that even the true assassin(s) probably did not know who paid the contract. You can bet they had killed before for pay. They pulled it off. The perfect crime, one that is continually looked at and questioned, yet still they got away with it.

It goes back to who had the most to gain by killing the President? Who had the most to loose of he continued his politcal agenda? Money wise? Power wise?

Probably the mob protecting international drug dealing or the Federal Reserve protecting their power over our country. Or could have been LBJ???
