Did anyone go and shoot at the Zombie match last night?

Planned on it, wife made other plans so I couldn't go.
I heard it went very well. So well there is going to be another one this month. 52 shooters.

I wasn't able to make it, can you give us some details about the event and what they did?
There were 55 shooters there. Trophies were handed out for High Over All winner, best score rifle, best score handgun, high junior, high lady, most infected shooter (last place), and best Zombie Gun (could have been more, can't remember). Also 5 or so $50 Heartland gift certificates were given away by random drawings to those who stayed for the drawings.
The youngest shooter I saw was 11 years old. Handled his gun very well, safely, and a very fine shot. The match was fun. We shot 4 stages, two of which were in the dark under strobe light and glow sticks. On one dark stage, had 3 Zombie targets (on different target tracks) charging you at the same time. There was zombie targets on swingers hiding behind a no shoot target, zombies coming out of the ground and zombie brains (like shooting steel plates). Shot a Zombie heart hanging from a string that exploded green blood when hit. Some targets were the size of post-it notes, because they were post-it notes, moving away from you as you shot at them. Some zombie targets were like hostage targets with the zombie behind the victim, and the victim was a no shoot (penalty) if hit.
Some of the most fun was checking out what everyone brought to shoot. On my squad I saw .22 rifles, .22 pistols, 1911's, Glocks, XDm's, M&P's, AR15's, SBR AR15's, AK47's, and more I can't remember - and my favorite to watch was the guy with the Garand, felt the percussion of every shot. Some of the SBR's had quite the fireball flash on the dark stages and were very cool to see.
If you brought more than 1 gun, you could choose to shoot a different gun on any stage. Some shot their pistols on some stages and chose to shoot their rifles on other stages.
Round count was somewhere around 100. Lots of new shooters came out for this one, most had not shot in any type of match or organized event. There is another Zombie shoot on October 28th at Heartland. They are limiting it to 50 shooters max this time and taking sign ups now. I will be there again.

Where do you sign up? I don't see anything on their website.

ETA: I can't find a place to sign up either. Do you have to go to the store?? They are real close to RickN and a really big Hobby Lobby ... we could make a "road trip" ...
Why? Not only can women not shoot Mosins, they also can't shoot at night. Tsk.
