This is the Hong Kong version of the Polimaster 1208. It is a geiger counter wristwatch! It measures Gamma Radiation only and does serve as a dosimeter (shows your dosage over time.) It is sized for a small 6 1/2 inch wrist, sow it will need a larger strap if you have a larger wrist. It has a Swiss Rhonda Movement and measures lower levels of gamma radiation and can be preset to alarm in the present of higher radiation fields. It can also serve as an alarm clock. So you are aware, it measures in uSv/hr which is similar to the US milliroentgens per hour, and shows an accumulated dose as well as rate. Just replaced the batteries today.
The good, it works and can measure low levels of gamma radiation such as those from a radium dialed clock or watch. Pick up people in Walmart who have gotten nuclear stress tests.
