As I was told when I moved back here - Avoid any streets named after a President or a State. (aka - Lawton View or, just "The View.")
Also an area called Ranch Oak off of South 11th st. and there is some rogue ghetto on 24th & 25th streets on the North side of Gore blvd.
Also be wary of anything North of Cache Rd. from 11th. st. to about 31st street....
Actually, most of this town is ghetto...it'd actually be easier to tell you the nicer places to live! haha

But seriously, while there are lots of apartment complexes here there really aren't very many that would be considered "nice" - and in most cases leasing a house or condo here is almost as cheap as one of those few.
