I'm gonna third and fourth the advancement of the FACT that it's not the size of the dog, it's the fact that it's aggressive. Biggest problem with folks who talk about "aggressive dogs" is they have no clue about canine behavior or how to read it. Lots of folks think they know what their dog is saying to them. The vast majority of those folks are just flat wrong. It's a good thing for us humans that dogs are as forgiving as they are.

It's not that people can read dogs all that well. Dogs, however, are masters at reading humans.

Up on channel 6's website now; looks like it caused quite a stir. Something about facebook; nothing has enabled people to incriminate themselves more than facebook. And "the government spying on you"? All they have to do is pull up someone's facebook page. People offer up way, way too much info on there. No one has to do any real surveillence - they just wait on you to volunteer the information.

I have four dogs and yes, they are like children to me. I do my very best to keep them on my 5 acres just outside the city limits of Tulsa. I have a underground fence that shocks them if they cross it. Two of them will sometimes cross it if the motivation is greater than the fear of the shock such as a squirrel or rabbit. Once outside the fence, they decide to go on an adventure rather than take the shock to come home. One time they were gone overnight and I was unable to sleep. I drove the neighborhood several times looking for them. The next morning I called the local vet and a lady had taken them in that lived five miles from me and posted a note at the vet. They had crossed several properties on their adventure and I am so glad no one shot them just for being on their property. Dogs do not understand property lines. To me just shooting a dog that happens to wander on someone's property would be like shooting a child that happed to climb a fence crossing a property. My dogs are not aggressive. They may bark at a cat or dog because they have been isolated on my property and not used to other animals. I have trained them to stay away from my tractor, cars and delivery trucks with firecrackers and it works very well. If they hear a shot they run to the house. Now like I said they are like children to me and if I found out that someone shot them for fun it would be like they shot my child. First I would use the legal system, then I would use a civil lawsuit to cost them as much as possible, then the misery would start. After a period of time for me to be forgotten about the perp would find random things not working such as ac units and car radiators with what may look like a 22 round in them. Please do not shoot a dog just because you can, I would do everything I could to run a dog off my property before I would consider shooting it. Someone may love that dog and want it home.

Rogers County DA Not Charging Teen With Sexual Abuse Of 8-Year-Old Girl

[The dad is outraged, because he was told the sexual acts were "voluntary," so it's not a criminal issue...

Both girls underwent sexual assault exams. Dean says the exams showed the abuse, which included penetration, has happened before.

"There's laws in Oklahoma for that, they're not capable of giving that kind of consent...]
