I have a neighbor across my street that lets his dog out into the front yard. After a while, the dog began to wander into MY yard to do his business. At first, the owner apologized to me when I would catch his dog and chase him out of my yard. Hey, he got out of sight a couple times, "no harm, no foul." Now, it's a habit and the guy doesn't even apologize. This dude is our neighborhood kook who has loud domestics with his wife and strangers just walking down the road so I pretty much avoid contact with him but have spoken to the wife whose kids go to our Church. Now I just get my shovel, scoop up what "Rascal" has left and calmly walk over and deposit it onto his own lawn. I would NEVER harm their dog. After all, I don't want to traumatize the kids and the dog is just doing what dogs do.

This is a good idea until u get arrested for animal abuse! Legally your much better off shooting and killing the dog. Thats if it's warranted.
I've had to put down a couple dogs myself recently for killing my chickens and goats. They happened to be stray pitbulls but even if they were poodle's my actions would have been the same. I am not proud of it, and did not like the fact that I had to do it, but they were threatening my livelyhood.
The best "guard dog" that I have are about 30 Guinea's. They are not dogs but they make alot of noise anytime they see anyone, including myself.

Bragging about dog killing exploits or premeditation to to kill a neighbor online are a few examples of "A lack of forethought".
Jst saw it on the news. I hope he gets his little a** in the ringer. I live out in the country and have dogs and cats come across my property all the time, I don't have any livestock to worry about but I do have a daughter. I have a Jack Russell and a pitbull that I have already notified the neighbors of and ask them to not shoot my dogs if they see them unless they are harming something but there is the 99 percent chance that they will never be on anyone's property because they are house dogs and I make sure I know their where abouts at all times because I don't want the Coyotes to get ahold of them and if I see any dogs out in my yard I go get my 12 gauge and shoot into the ground and they're gone. There is absolutely no sense in with that boy did or anybody else doing something like that to an animal that is not causing harm to anything.
Not abuse when I protecting livestock.
