Sad. He was a great song writer and singer. Wrote two of Elvis's greatest hits including in the Ghetto and Suspicious minds. He will be missed. Rest in Peace sir. We appreciate the gift

Mac didn’t write “Suspicious Minds”, but in addition to “In The Ghetto” he also wrote “A Little Less Conversation” which was a big hit for Elvis. (How cool would it be to be able to say you wrote hit songs for Elvis Presley?)
