What if you just turned 21, single, no significant other, good job, spending cash.

If this was your start, what would you do with your life?

Stay in the job, get one out there on the edge?

You haven't met your current spouse, you didn't already have kids. Your future was looking at you square in the eyes. What do you wish you would have done?

Lets have fun with this one, but you can be serious too.

Not to copycat, but he's right I'd work & save only as long as it took to fund the next trip and see as much of the world as I could. Which is still a goal but it's more doable in the scenario you described.

Do some traveling, save some money, buy some land and build a house. - would be a wise decision.
Go out and have lots of fun, buy guns and ammo, go shooting a lot.

I was there...only tie I had was the army

I had parted ways with my primary job - was only doing little stuff and traveling the majority of the month. I wouldn't do it again.

If I was 21 again I'd go back and get a degree, invest a little money and definitely not live the way I was.
