If you were to SBR this one, would you be able to just chop off the barrel and still have it reliable with the gas system?

I know with AR's you run into reliability issues with the DI gas system when chopping an existing barrel and didn't know if the piston system of an AK would prevent problems or not.

Thats a good question. Im not 100% sure but i do believe the gas port has to be opened up slightly.

Maybe an AK builder will chime in and give specifics.
