If you were to SBR this one, would you be able to just chop off the barrel and still have it reliable with the gas system?

I know with AR's you run into reliability issues with the DI gas system when chopping an existing barrel and didn't know if the piston system of an AK would prevent problems or not.

I know its not every ones cup of tea but so far i have no complaints and i love the look.

I'm converting a saiga that is goin to look alot like this when I'm done. Only with a holo sight instead of tube. I love the way yours looks. And it's a great zombie killer!

Thats a good question. Im not 100% sure but i do believe the gas port has to be opened up slightly.

Maybe an AK builder will chime in and give specifics.

If I ever get another AK, I want it to look just like that one but have a shorter barrel and a rosewood handguard.

Where's all the AK builders?
