Added my new Aimpoint Comp ML2 and LaRue. Thanks Andy!!!
Think I need to find a taller rear sight, the MI is a little low for cowitnessing.

looks good Kirk and yea i think you may need a taller rear sight to try cowitnessing with that mount. But hey at least you didnt get an eotech:hithead: lol.

well if anything just dial the brightness down when you try to make some of the longer shots thats what i did out to 300 yds with my eo512 and it worked just fine:50cal:

i need to post some more pics of mine here sometime maybe next week. Its basically completely setup the way i want now just dont have a mount for my flashlight thats coming but thats no biggy as i'll probably keep it off the weapon for general use and slap it on the ar if need be. but its insane the difference between that bcm bcg and the stock dpms unit. i feel alot better knowing everything is the way it should be with bcm just need to hit the range sometime and try it out and see if the new buffer makes any difference.

The Co Witnessing deal is for the dot setting on top of the front sight. The Co Witnessing has nothing to do with the rear sight. If you get a taller rear sight then it will not zero with your front sight.

I could of swore years ago when I ran a GG&G Scout Rail, an Aimpoint XD and an Arms #40 that I looked through the Rear sight and the DOT was on the top of the front sight......Though that was a long time ago and I could be wrong.

Allright! Thanks for all the help. I lowered the dot from the center of the scope to where it now sits on top of the front sight post,,,while looking through the rear sight. I think I finally got it.....I just thought something had to be wrong since it's in the lower third and not in the center like my last Aimpoint setup.... Thanks again for the help......I kept searching LaRue's site and all it said was it was The correct height-above-rail was trial & errored by "folks-in-the-know".

It said nothing about who those people are? Or what trials and errors were? Or if it was supposed to be centered or lower 1/3?
