Wow that must have set you back a few bucks, I made mine out of scraps that were laying around in my back yard.

Recently upgraded safes thanks to a fellow OSAer. I installed 24' of rope lighting in it so I can quickly scramble weaponry in case of zombie attack. As you can see, I have a couple of choices but I do have a phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range as well as a Class 3 belt-fed weapon. I'm ready for bear, Bud. And there better be some Twinkies waiting for me on the other side.

I don't own any guns so why would I need a gun safe. Guns are icky.

I do have a large metal box that I got from Cabelas that I use to store my fishing poles. It's fire proof and everything.

I'm looking for a safe that approx 24" in width and a long gun capacity of at least 16 plus . The width and capacity is the key .
