I'm looking for a safe that approx 24" in width and a long gun capacity of at least 16 plus . The width and capacity is the key .

Shouldn't be a problem. Lots of choices available without spending a huge amount of money.

I recently upgraded to the larger Libery model available at Lowe's. I bought it used here in OSA and though it might not be the world's greatest safe, it's better than what I had. I've also seen decent safes at Atwoods and Bass Pro. Of course there are higher end safes available at H&H, etc. plus the dedicated safe stores.

I actually have a Century 14 gun safe I got at Atwoods.
