It took a long time to make. I had loaned out my 5/8-24 tap and had to single point thread it. It sucked!

Come on now Dustin, single point or tread hob is the only way to cut threads. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if I never saw another tap in my life LOL

Anyway this is the only tacticool looking bolt gun I have. Nothing special just a M700 on a BC stock.

Not thread protectors.

And using a thread mill is the only way to cut threads in some parts.

What's the deal with a thread protector that makes it hard to thread???
As for taps, I ain't met one I couldn't break yet lol
Back when I was running mills I think I spent half my day burning taps out of holes

It just takes longer. There is no reason to spend the time to single point a thread protector when you have a tap for it. If you're breaking taps, you might want to look in the mirror.
