Typical Winchester 94 with a "Rick Lowe" sling

Winchester 1901...cuz everybody needs a lever action 10ga. 1901s were updated 1887s made to handle smokeless cartridges.

Winchester 1887. This was my great grandpas "back up" to the one he shot since he was a kid. It's for black powder 12ga so doesnt get shot much.

And the beast....Browning 1886 in .45-70.
They made 5000 of these (Grade 1) in 1986 that are true to the original design (aka no safety or rebounding hammer or any modern lawyer updates).

I still want a Browning 92, and a Browning 1885 (not sure if we are including falling blocks or not). And finally a Marlin 1895 .45-70 so I could have a .45-70 I am willing to toss in the truck or drag through the woods. I think that would get me satisfied with lever actions.

I love my lever guns. Sometimes, yeah, they may be finicky, but I feel that like all guns, they can be figured out/fixed. But at the end of the day, they’re awesome. Mine aren’t very “traditional” but they do a job, and do it well. And are super fun. View attachment 283507View attachment 283508

I have my grandfather’s 94 in .30-30, a Rossi in .44-40, a Rossi in .357, and a Remlin 1895 in .45-70.

It is. I went all ranger point on that rifle. Expensive, but really nice stuff.

I've owned a few Marlins over the years but I only have the Glenfield 30-30 I bought new in 1976 now.

I missed a deal on a 39A posted here recently that I'll probably regret for a long time.
