The intersection at Mustang WalMart will be even more of a disaster.
This plan fits in with the 15 minute city. I bet there is some Federal monies involved that maybe the city council is hush on. The Agenda 2030 group always approaches cities thru the back door like they did in Edmond. Edmond business and citizens caught them taking the bribes and made that city repent.
Also looks like Canadian Estates will not be attached in any way. And there are only 3 entrances to the entire development.

This country is addicted to "growth". I don't get it. How about we let the roads and schools catch up.
Also, if deportations do take place, the demand for housing may go down and leave some of those new places empty.
When the deportations start, they might have trouble finding legal workers. A whole bunch of the brick layers and roofer's are illegal alien workers. Should be interesting for sure.

Well if I did my counting correctly they'll be putting in 21 senior lease only units which we don't need since so many are going in just down the road on 59th. Single family about 369 units. Now figure an average of 2 cars per family that be around 700 or more cars going in/out every morning out of just two exists. What fun that'll be.

Oh I got a response from my council person. The city has already planned to widen Morgan Road. I suspect it'll be from Hwy 152 thru to the turnpike when all is said and done. Not sure what plans OKC has for 59th but that'll be interesting with school traffic for sure.

Again anyone who lives in this general area or travels through the area needs to be at the council meeting on December 11th from 6-7pm. Be early especially if handicapped since there are only a couple of spaces. Let's pack the council room and give em hell. Oh the same council members and mayor that approved the plan the last time are the ones who'll be deciding this one as well. If they approve it it's time for new members who vote for it.

Roofers, framers, painters, concrete finishers too. Got out of the building business around 2001 after bldg. 136 custom homes in Mustang/Yukon area. Liability, Workers Comp and Health Insurance got outrageous.
Many of the trades had their 'pimp' that spoke English was becoming the norm.

Makes one wonder why they seek city council positions if they are gonna fight against the citizens.
Who do they think they work for? I mean did any 'citizens' want this? Or just out of town developers.
Who's going to widen Morgan in the OKC zone? Mustang is just from 59th to HW152.

I agree. The SW OKC area between Mustang and Yukon has been terrible infrastructure wise and OKC just keeps on approving new Housing Developments. The OKC planning commission and City council are rubber stamps for developers.

Well that sucks. I'm at SW 29th and Morgan road and take that route to get to Mustang for shops and restaraunts.
Have you had trouble leaving Chili's? The entrance is way too small and many can't make the entry when someone is exiting so they almost come to a stop on 152. Plus traffic pops up over the hill from the east at hi-way speeds. I predict lots of accidents there.

The old hi-way 92 needs widening now. The state vacated it as a state hi-way years ago so they would not have to pay for it.

Yeah they need to fix that and that's also the same entrance into Qdoba. Then you have all the people that turn left and park in the middle lane waiting for traffic to go by so they can merge. It's bad. I can't imagine what it's going to look like when that Chifila is complete.

Precisely why I compared it to Edmond. 5 second green lights? 3 second green left turn lights? sitting through several cycles of green red signals even during the middle of the day. Edmond sucks!
