When is the last time you saw an NRA ad with a kid promoting gun control?
You may have seen them promoting the Eddie eagle gun safety program.

I guess I should have clarified, both sides use kids to promote their separate agendas. My apologies, I figured the emphasized "ANY," in the OP would have been a dead giveaway.

Safety training is one thing. Use of any tool requires a knowledge of safe handling. But using that training when aimed at kids, to promote anything but safe usage is just not right. Children should never be pawns in any agenda. Often, they don't even understand what is being promoted, and they will mimic whatever the "Authority" tells them.

It's like taking a blind man, sticking a sign to his back stating your opinion without telling him and asking him to walk downtown. Everyone will assume it is his opinion on the sign, but the guy doesn't even know he is advertising it.

I'm not even a fan of kids in commercial advertising, but that's a whole 'nuther rant.....
