Yep, double edged sword, makes it harder to prosecute presidents in general.

If Joe had been the subject this decision it would have produced the same answer EXCEPT all seven of the justices would have been on board - because it was Trump - three liberals were against it
most likely the decision would have come much earlier and easier too
