Hmmm, this article could be pertinent to our family. Thank you for posting. I’m going to send it to my stepmom.
Dad, 69 yo, sleeps most nights on the couch for a few hours, and has for several years, and won’t talk about it. He has been diagnosed with dementia in the past two years. I wonder if this is what could be occurring?

I sleep in my own room alone for a reason, have since I was in my 40s. Had a guy on the Fire Dept that suffered from Night Terrors, he did not last on the Fire Dept sleeping in a room with other Firefighters. Lost his job over it during his probation period.

RLS is among the bad one also, I hae severe RLS and the Neurologist put me on Carbidopa and Pregabalin and last night I tried to sleep and was awake until around 1 AM and finally got off to sleep and awakened by the wife around five times because I was violently kicking her. And I have an upcoming total knee replacement and the surgeon may not even do the surgery because of the kicking.

We have helped countless people get totally free from trauma and night terrors. I myself am no longer stuck in nightmares or any sleep paralysis. Veterans, abuse victims, etc.
You know it's really interesting to me that I've never had night terrors given my history. Maybe because I'm so open about what went on?? Or maybe I'm just a hot mess ... Lol

Typically I find people with fear. Fear from a traumatic event or just something that happened or they saw happen. Fear of losing a family member, fear of clowns, snakes, excessively long list of possibilities. Anxiety is right there with it. Which usually brings a fight for control and or addictions. All sorts of chain reactions. Not everybody dreams oddly.
