Is shop Heat a Gear Head Topic?

New heat for me. 10k watt. 240v. It puts the heat out and puts it out fast! Fully Programmable Thermostatic. Remote Control.

Now three ways to heat my shop, nat gas, wood and electric.

I need something that would work in a single car size garage. I rent so I can't/dont want 220. Thought about using a diesel torpedo or those infrared heaters.
I have a diesel torpedo I advertised in the classifieds a few months back. It will heat a garage is 5 minutes.

Nice heaters OP!
I have a salvaged propane central heat unit in the corner with a handmade plenum to direct the air from the top to the middle of the room. Kick it on when first coming into the shop, then fire up the double barrel wood burning stove with a propane fire starter in the bottom drum to get things going.
After about 30 minutes, the wood burner takes over and supplies the heat the rest of the day. The propane CH unit rarely ever comes on.
It's a 30X40' shop with 10' ceilings. I do have two 54" ceiling fans to circulate the warm air, so it stays evenly warm throughout. The double barrel puts out so much heat that it has to be throttled back with the damper at times.
