Heat pump heat strip problem solved

We have three brand new Carrier heat pumps in our home. Two have performed flawlessly while the one on the main floor has been nothing but trouble. They’ve pretty much rebuilt the entire outside unit over the past 4 years. Thankfully it came with a 5 or 7 year complete warranty so nothing out of pocket……yet.

My late brother was an HVAC contractor, and he swore by the heat pumps. Every time I stayed at his house to help install HVAC in other customers homes, I would freeze my ass at night. Daytime was no different. I would not recommend heat pumps.
