But, I do know from experience that AR500 eventually flexes/bows from repeated impacts and welds end up breaking. Bolting/hanging AR500 is the preferred method of mounting.

Albright in OKC? Worth calling around to all the vendors. Not sure how welding heat affects the hardness. Water jet and drill/ bolt may be better if you plan on shooting rifle rounds at it.
If just for personal use and you're on good terms with your local welding supply place, old cylinders that fail visual test are piled up outside until they're hauled off for scrap. Get a pile of them, pull the valves, cut in half and tack/ hang from chain. Awesome targets for all calibers and when there's more holes than metal from rifle shots, make another batch.
Sounds nice when hit and you can't beat free.

I'm going to be cutting these with a CNC plasma. To deal with the heat of cutting, they are half submerged in water. We are a Munn dealer, so I will have to call them up!
