Here's another +1 for Sooner State. Good guys. Whether you know guns and want to do a transfer, or need a hand buying your first handgun they can help. I have transferred a number of firearms through them and have the utmost confidence in their abilities.

I had a friend tell me about a new gun shop that just opened in Bixby. I stopped by there last week and chatted with the owner for a while. He's friendly and he has a nice selection of guns. I didn't buy anything from him as I had just dropped a large sum of money to get my new CPAP machine, or I'd have been tempted to take something home with me. The store is Weapons, Inc, and it's on Memorial Drive, around 131st St.

Gun Tec in Bixby and Security Center in far east Tulsa/Catoosa are both nice stores in the Tulsa area with prices better than the big box stores.

These are good and I'll also throw in Bear Beam Firearms on 41st between Mingo and memorial. Also, Patrick from BANG is great for receiving guns in Tulsa especially if you like nights and weekends. He works out of his house and doesn't carry much inventory, but a great guy and gun enthusiast.

As has been written before Village Tactical has a good selection and knowledgeable staff. They also carry lots of top shelf firearms and accessory's. If you reload they are a Dillon Precision dealer with tons of components.
Sooner State Pawn is aces as well.
Stay away from GunWorld unless you are looking for a screwing.
H&H has plenty to look at, but the staff has always been rude and even when they aren't busy they find a way to ignore you. The ventilation sucks on the ranges.
Out in Western OK, Tinstar is in Weatherford. Prices are high, the staff is pushy, and know just enough to get by.
The Firing Pin in Clinton is small and out of the way, but very friendly and knows his stuff.

I'm gonna agree with most on here as for OKC....

Gun World can go eat a D&%$

H&H is good for window shopping...never liked the staff, always felt like i wasn't worth their time when asking questions

7 Elements is a nice shop

COPS is pretty good

Blue Collar Tactical isn't bad either, very friendly staff and decent prices.
