Hey guys,
As the title says I recently got out of the military. I am looking for a place to shoot past 600 yard and out to a mile max (or beyond 1000 yards). I was wondering if anyone knew of a place or has some private/public land that would let me shoot on. All my shooting would be suppresed if noise is a problem.

Any help here would be much appreicated. I do know about Red Castle however I only know one person that is a member there and would like to be able to shoot to 1,000 more than twice a year.

Here are some pictures of my rifle and the specs. I've had this rifle out to 1012 yards and would like to push it even further.

Damn! That's nice! I'm way south of you and don't know anything about up north, there. Since I've got only 5 acres, I have a pistol range instead of a rifle range. You're gonna need at least a thousand meters.

Thanks for the welcomes and kind words. I do know of a place or 2 that are about 45min-1hr away to shoot. Was wondering if anyone knew of anything closer. I have considered heading out to the end of 71st st here in BA and asking some of the farmers/ranchers if I could shoot on their land in exchange for a little work on my side or something like that.

That would be fun but I won't have time Sunday or the ammunition ha. To be completely honest I have only shot 3 groups with this rifle. 1: zero my optics. 2: verify my zero 3: one 5 round group that measured something like .4 at 100.
I really try stay away from shooting groups and don't reload so probably wouldn't do too well. I do a lot of dot drills, positional shooting, type stuff. I feel I am capable of shooting .5 moa groups or better 95% of the time.

This rifle only has 80 rounds down the tube btw, prior to the way it looks now it was a 700 SPS V with a Bell & Carlson stock. I learned all my long range stuff on a GAP built .308.

I would love to find somewhere to shoot long range around NE Ok. I've got a rifle/pistol range, but only out to 400 yds. Nice rig! I shot a friend's suppressed 700 with a McCray stock. It was awesome and will cost me some money in the long run!
