I was just wondering if anyone knew of any Long Range matches (not F T/R), something more like a Tactical bolt gun match. If there isn't one anywhere, would anyone be interested in working on setting one up? I know a few peopel that would be quite interested.
Why are you specifically excluding F-TR?
Just not my thing. With a military back ground shooting a bunch rounds into one target at a set distance doesn't really do much for my sense of fun. I am not knocking it in any way shape or form. Just not for me. Hence why I am looking for long range matches like the tactical matches mentioned in the link above. F T/R is pretty darn neat btw. The rifles are some freaking hammers.
Look into the Pawnee Run N Gun - there'll be shooting out to 500 yds, lots more 100-250, and pistol stuff as well. Several miles hauling your SHTF gear, with shooting stations every mile or so.
