Looking for a crossbow for my wife...

I know nothing about them, but she wants one. The spot my wife rifle hunts has some nice bucks already showing up. I told her i was going to go take them with my bow, she now wants to get a crossbow. Any suggestions on a reasonable priced one? Or a place to start? Brand....etc...

Academy sports and outdoors in tulsa had a lot of xbows the last time we were in there, thats where we got ours. It's a PSE Viper rattler, Connie can shoot it pretty good to.

We've had it for 4 years think we gave between 350 and 400$ for it.

Are crossbows even legal to kill a deer with unless your handicapped? I looked into one about 5 years ago and it seems that's what I found.

You might want to go to the hunting and fishing section of this forum. There have been many discussions about the merits of different xbows in there lately.
